As an experienced professional in the industry, let’s talk make your wedding tanning process as seamless and easy as possible by answering some of the most common questions:
Should I book a trail? I highly recommend booking a trial tan before your wedding about 1 month prior to your wedding. If possible, prior to any of the following: engagement shoot to see how it photographs, a dress fitting so you can see how it looks against your dress, your makeup trial to help visualize the finished look and give your makeup artist a better idea for color matching. During the trial I work with you to find the perfect color, go over all of the details and answer any questions you may have. A trial tan helps you decide if you want to go lighter, darker, or stay with the color we chose at your trial for your wedding tan. This will also get you comfortable with the tanning process if you're not familiar with spray tanning or if this will be your first time.
Should I book a tan before my bridal events? Why not look and feel your best before all of your fun and exciting bridal events?! Many of my brides-to-be come to me before their pre-wedding events: engagement party, photoshoots, bachelorette, bridal shower, etc. This is a great way to get multiple "trials" in before your wedding.
When should I book my wedding tan? You want to book your wedding tan 2-3 days prior for the best results. This is when your tan will look it’s best! A spray tan is always the last thing you do on your beauty prep list so be sure to schedule all beauty services 1-2 days prior to your tan. This includes: manicure/pedicure, facials, massages, waxing, brows, lashes, etc. Pro Tip: When it comes to bridal and wedding tans there is a recommended timeline to follow when scheduling your appointments so pre-booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance is highly recommended to ensure that you get your desired dates and times!
Should I tan my face? Most brides do choose to tan their face but there's always an option not to. Some makeup artists actually prefer if you don't tan your face so they can color match the foundation to your tan. I always recommend checking with them before your appointment! If your skin is on the sensitive side or you have any skin concerns or conditions please consult with me and we will figure out what the best option will be!
Will the tan stain my dress? No! When scheduling your tan 2-3 days prior it will ensure that there is no chance of the tan staining your dress.
Do you offer discounts for bridal parties? Yes! A bridal spray tan party is the perfect way to get your “I do” crew together to ensure that every member of your wedding party looks their best! Remember, pictures last a lifetime! I can host your group at my studio or travel and bring the glow to you! Discounted pricing is available for groups of 4 or more people.
