FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I be orange?

This is my most frequently asked question and the answer to that is NO!

My sunless solutions have a unique blend of anti-orange bronzer pigments

designed to counter unwanted orange undertones.

How long does a spray tan last?

A sunless airbrush tan will last anywhere from 5-10 days.

How you prepare for your tan, how you take care of your tan,

and other factors like your lifestyle, skin conditions,

hormones, medications, antibiotics, and activities

can play a role in how long your tan lasts.

Are the results instant?

Yes! As I'm spraying you, I'm applying a cosmetic bronzer.

This acts as a guide so you can see your color results.

When you rinse after your designed wait time

you will see some of your color come off which is normal.

This results in a slightly lighter color than you left with but

your tan will continue to develop over the next 24 hours.

This is why I recommend scheduling a tan 2 days prior to any event.

Is your solution organic?

Contrary to what you may read, no sunless solution is 100% organic.

My organic solutions contain 98% organically derived ingredients.

All of my solutions contain nourishing vitamins and antioxidants,

are 100% vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, GMO free, nut-allergen free,

gluten free, non-comedogenic, and are not tested on animals.

Should I book a trial?

I highly recommend booking a trial tan before all major events.

During the trial I work with you to find the perfect color,

go over all of the details and answer any questions you have.

A trial tan will help you get comfortable with the tanning process

if you're not familiar with sunless tanning or if this will be your first time.

This also helps you decide if you want to go lighter, darker,

or stay with the color we chose at your trial for your event.

For brides, I highly recommend booking a trial

1-2 months before your wedding or an event.

Can I get a spray tan if I'm pregnant?

Yes! My sunless solutions are safe for expecting moms.

But I always recommend consulting with your doctor first

and I'm happy to send you a list of ingredients.

Will a spray tan protect my skin from the sun?

Although you may look and feel like you have a real tan,

a spray tan is only the temporary appearance of a tan

and provides your skin with no real protection

so it's highly recommended that you wear sunscreen

when you are out in the sun to protect your skin.

I have a list of spray tan friendly sunscreens

I recommend using in my "post tan" section.

Will a spray tan stain my clothes?

There is a chance that the solution may rub off on clothing.

The solution is water-soluble and will come off

of most clothing and fabrics when washed.

To minimize the chance of the solution transferring or staining,

wear or bring loose-fitting dark clothing to put on after your tan.

Will a spray tan stain my nails or hair?

The solution will not discolor your nails, polish, or hair.

I wipe down your palms and fingernails/toenails at the end of the session.

I provide a protective hair cap for each client to wear before the session.
